Yarrow

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is an ancient medicinal plant, being one of the most known and used species in the traditional medicine of many peoples. Yarrow is used in the liquor and perfume industry. It is also a melliferous species. The underground part is represented by a lignified rhizome and the stem is erect, 40-80 cm tall. The leaves are lanceolate, alternate, with a large number of narrow bundles. The flowers are arranged in a corymb, and the fruit is an elongated achene.
