Wood borers or wood wasps?
Hello. I have a shed made of wood and OSB. I recently found these damaged areas in two of the beams of the shed. The 3 round holes are about 6-7 mm in diameter. In the other picture you can see a trace of earth around the hole on the left side. I searched on the net and I understand that there is a species of wasp that can do this. About the wood decay I understood that it would make very small holes and many, not so big. What pests do you think they are? So far I treated the whole shed 3 days ago with K-Othrine. Today I also read of Dobol Fumigator as being effective, especially as I don’t have access to all the cracks in the shed to spray with K-Othrine. Thanks in advance for the answers!

Hello, considering the size of those holes, they were most likely caused by a species of wasps. Thus, since you have applied a spray treatment with K-Othrine WG 250, 20 g, additionally, it is recommended to use i7.2 Dobol Fumigator, 10 g.
