White spots on succulent
Hello,
For a few days, I have noticed on one of the succulents some small white spots similar to mold. The same small spots are also on the stems at the top and when touched, the leaves fall off. The succulent is one with fluffy and slightly sticky leaves (Bear Paws).
What can it be and how can it be treated?
Thank you.Attachments:

Hello, you can apply a broad-spectrum fungicide, such as Amistar ( Amistar, 10 ml ), in a dose of 10 ml / 10 l water. It is recommended to apply one or two treatments at intervals of 5-7 days between them. At 7-10 days after the treatments, you can apply a foliar fertilizer with regenerating and strengthening effect of the plants, such as Biplantol vital ( Biplantol Vital NT, 250 ml ), in a dose of 20 ml / 1 l water. Foliar applications can be repeated every two to three weeks.

alalexandra30 March 2022Good evening! Help! I don’t know what’s happening to my pretty little plants! I was on holiday for 10 days and when I came back I found them like this. I usually water them about every 5 – 6 days, put them by the window where it’s sunny only after 2 pm, I applied universal fertilizer a month and a half ago. What can I do to save them? It’s getting worse😭😭😭😭 please help me, thank you very much!

Hello, in general, problems with succulents are caused by improper care. Succulents prefer places where they benefit from light, especially in the first part of the day, but do not prefer the afternoon sun. It is advisable to water moderately, allowing the soil to dry between waterings, and the pot should have drainage holes. Excess moisture can cause root rot and plant death. It is also important to remove the pebbles from the pot, as they prevent water evaporation and keep moisture in the roots. In this case, you can apply one or two treatments at 5-7 day intervals with a broad-spectrum fungicide such as amistar ( Amistar, 10 ml ), in a dose of 10 ml / 10 l water. It is also recommended to apply a fertilizer special formulated for succulents such as bonsai & cactus fertilizer kakteendunger, 250 ml. You can find other information on our blog – Succulents, plant care and growing guide.
