      Tomato with dried stem

      Hello! My grandmother has some tomatoes that are drying out the stem above the root until the whole plant dries out, and some plants don’t develop leaves, they bloom but stay small and don’t grow. What do you think they might have? Thank you very much!

      Hello, in order to help you with a recommendation, please give us more information about tomatoes: where are they located, what are the environmental conditions (light, temperature, humidity, soil)? How often is watering done? When exactly did the symptoms start? Have plant protection treatments/fertilizers been applied? Are any pests present on the plants? If you cut the stem of 1-2 plants with similar symptoms, is the tissue browned inside? Have you noticed any other symptoms, e.g. spots on leaves, stems?
      Also, please attach some relevant pictures of the sections made, as well as some pictures of the whole tomato plant.
