      Strawberry crop with earthworms

      I planted three strawberries and because they disappeared I started looking for snails with the flashlight. The surprise was that I discovered an infestation of earthworms (30 cm long and even more), which disappear very quickly into the ground. There are many, everywhere. Now I think they got used to the flashlight and I managed to take pictures. I don’t know what they are and if they are dangerous to humans, I have a 2-year-old child crawling and playing in the yard. Could you please help me?

      Hello. The presence of earthworms is a sign that the earth is fertile. They are not harmful to plants or humans, and their presence is beneficial in nature, having various important roles for the soil, such as loosening, aeration, decomposition of organic matter, etc.

        So they are earthworms, not a monster because I have never seen such earthworms, very long and especially very fast. Thanks.
