Sea buckthorn, the leaves are turning yellow
Hello! I have a Sea buckthorn plantation and some of the plants are starting to turn yellow and I don’t know why. If you can recommend what I could spray them with, I would be grateful.
The plantation is in its 5th year.
Thank you!Attachments:

Hello. Overall, the appearance of the plants in the attached photos is normal, common. If you identify symptoms that can be related to pest attacks or fungal diseases, please come back with clear, close-up photos, focusing on the symptoms (growths, deposits, delimited discolorations, leaks, holes, white fuzz, very fine webs, mold or other – Sea buckthorn treatments, pest and disease control), or give us more information about the symptoms observed, as well as about the environmental conditions in the area (soil, temperatures, wind, precipitation, exposure). In addition, in this case please specify at what intervals and by what method you carry out the watering, how much water you apply per watering, if you have applied fertilizers, if you have carried out phytosanitary treatments, as well as other information that may be relevant in this case.
Detailed information and various recommendations related to the cultivation of Sea buckthorn can be found in our article: Sea buckthorn, planting, growing and harvesting.Recommended articlesSea buckthorn treatments, pest and disease controlTreatments to control diseases and pests in Sea buckthorn, with approved fungicides and insecticides, from Armuro.Sea buckthorn, planting, growing and harvestingSea buckthorn, planting this shrub, care works and pruning guide, fertilization, optimal harvest time, recommended treatments, from ArmuroUCUngureanu Cristian9 August 2023There are a few that are “more discolored” and I thought they might have some issues. I haven’t watered them much as it’s been raining, and I fertilized them in the spring with manure.

In this case, if you have not identified any other symptoms, the most likely cause of the slight yellowing of some specimens may be related to a combination of abiotic factors (e.g. unfavorable microclimate conditions, different soil characteristics on that part of the land, nutrient deficiencies, insufficient soil moisture at certain times of the year, shade and others, depending on the case).
If you wish, in the following period (September-October), you can consider using a fertilizer with a high potassium content, such as Fertilizer 0-0-40 Azet HerbstKali, 2 kg (this increases the resistance to drought and frost and improves the water balance of the plants). It is administered by spreading it around the plants in a dose of 30 – 50 g/sqm, followed by gentle incorporation and watering according to the label recommendations. It is also recommended to carry out treatments during the dormancy period (after leaf fall) with copper fungicides and horticultural oil to maintain a good phytosanitary condition of the plants: Winter treatments with oils and copper-based products.
It is recommended to monitor the development of the plants over a period of time. If you notice any other unusual symptoms, please return with new photos and a full description.-
