Rhododendron – what causes brown edges on leaves?

Hello! Please help me with some advice! I attached a photo of the flower as it was when I bought it and how it is after two months later. It’s outside on the terrace, and although I applied special fertilizer to the rhododendron, it has brown edges on leaves. The same happened with the second flower, also rhododendron. I chose a special soil for such flowers and I do not know the cause of these symptoms. The leaves have wilted completely and even the flower buds have been affected. How do I save her? Is there any treatment? Thanks in advance!

Hello, in the case of rhododendron, the browning of the leaves usually occurs as a result of abiotic stress, caused by unfavorable environmental / care conditions (irregular watering, a high ph of the substrate, the stress suffered after repotting, etc. ). It is also important to mention that the affected leaves will not recover, but, considering that you have changed the substrate, it is recommended to administer a fertilizer such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml that stimulates the root development. You can apply 2-3 treatments, at intervals of 10-14 days, by watering, in a dose of 20-30 ml / 10 liters of water.
