Pachira – pruning and vegetative propagation
Hello, I have a pachira that has reached the ceiling, I think it should be cut. can you help me with some advice? can I propagate the plant from cut stems? is it necessary to do the pruning in a specific way? thanks in advance for your advice!

Hello. Pachira is a plant that can withstand pruning well. The best time for pruning is in autumn or spring, with well-sharpened and disinfected tools: Floristic Pruner. The cuttings should be smooth. As for vegetative propagation, it is recommended to do it in spring, by taking 2-3 cuttings and placing them in water or in a special soil: Sowing & Multiplication Substrate, 10 litres. Before placing the cuttings in the water or in the special soil, it is recommended to immerse them in a mixture that stimulates rooting, such as AMN Verde, 500 ml, at a dose of 100 ml/10 l water.
