Hello. These symptoms can be caused by both abiotic factors (care and storage conditions) and biotic factors (possibly a bacterial disease). In this case, for safety, it is recommended to remove the affected leaves and to apply 1-2 treatments, 7-10 days apart, with a fungicide such as , 20 g/10 L water. The solution is applied by spraying () uniformly on the plant, both on the upper and lower part of the leaves. It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage) because the mixture already prepared does not have a validity longer than 24 hours.
Later, 10-12 days after the end of the fungicide treatment, in order to increase the plant’s resistance to various diseases, you can consider the regular application of a fertilizer such as or , applied according to the label recommendations.
For detailed information on the care of these species, please see our article (Strelitzia, plant care and growing guide). In addition, it is advisable to monitor the development of the plant for a while, and if other symptoms appear, we are expecting your message accompanied by photos.
