Greenhouse whitefly – how to get rid of it?
Hi! My problem is the greenhouse whitefly. I have a polyhouse of 60sqm. I had this problem last year. Now it has appeared again, only a few specimens but it is multiplying. I sprayed a year ago with everything I could: Decis, Calypso, Fastac, Actara, Mospilan, Karate Zeon, Teppeki, Talent, Vertimec, etc. Now I have already applied 3 treatments with: Movento, Nissorun and Vertimec. No result. What else can I do?

Hello, if the invasion is not high, you can use adhesive traps, such as ( Impact Yellow, 10 x 25 cm ), which will help reduce the greenhouse whitefly population. Also, you can apply insecticides such as ( Sanmite 10 SC, 15 ml ), in a dose of 15 ml / 10 l of water. However, according to the manufacturer’s specifications, it is advisable to carry out only one treatment per year with this insecticide. Also, in the case of all insecticides, the preharvest interval must be respected, as well as the time interval between two treatments, generally 7-10 days, even if the treatments are done with different products.
