Calathea, brown spots
Hello, I purchased a calathea a few days ago. I changed its pot and I noticed that the leaves are starting to have spots. It is positioned about 2 m from the window. What could be the cause of these spots?
Thanks for any answers.Attachments:

Hello. In this case, the deterioration can most likely be related to a combination of factors, including the stress suffered during transport, handling, transplanting and changing environmental and care conditions, as well as the possibility of the occurrence of plant pathogens (diseases).
For the time being, it is recommended to regularly remove the damaged leaves and to keep the plant in a constant place under optimal growing conditions (Calathea, plant care and growing guide). If you consider it necessary, you can also consider two to three treatments of the roots with a bio fungicide such as Dynamic, 100 g, applied by watering at an interval of 7-10 days, in a dose of 10 g/10 L water (in one application, an amount of solution equal to the amount of water used in a normal watering is applied). It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage), because the already prepared mixture does not have a shelf life longer than 24 hours.
Watering should be carried out moderately, with optimal amounts of liquid, only when the surface layer of the substrate is dry (first 3-5 cm). Excessive watering can lead to root rot, leaf drop and create an imbalance in the plant. In the future, it is recommended to spray the plant with filtered water to ensure optimal moisture at the leaf level. To stimulate an optimal development of the roots, you may consider administering a fertilizer such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, by watering, as described in the product description (the first administration is recommended 10-14 days after the fungicide treatment).-
