Big caterpillar on the sour cherry tree

I found a very large caterpillar in the sour cherry tree. I don’t know which species it belongs to.

Hello. In the picture, it seems to be Cimbex quadrimaculatus, in the larval stage. This is the larva of a species of wasp that mainly attacks almond trees, but it can also attack certain fruit species: apricot, cherry, plum, apple, etc.
If you have noticed a single specimen, you can remove it.
