Apple tree, citrus flatid planthopper
Hello, I planted a columnar apple tree in a large flowerpot last autumn. Since then it has been sitting in an open balcony. I am sending you some pictures with its condition last Saturday and I would appreciate your opinion on what I should do to keep it in a good shape.
Thanks in advance!Attachments:

Hello! The apple tree in the pictures looks good. The pest in the image seems to be Metcalfa pruinosa (citrus flatid planthopper), you can find more information about it in the following article: Citrus flatid planthopper (Metcalfa pruinosa) - pest management.
To control these we recommend Deltasap 2.5 EC, 5 ml, in a dose of 5 ml per 7 of water, applied by foliar spraying, as well as on the stem. It is important to respect the preharvest interval between treatment and fruit picking, in this case 7 days.
For further information on the care of apple trees you can consult our articles: Apple tree, planting, growing and harvesting and Apple tree treatments, pest and disease control.-
