Anthurium, information about the ordered insecticide
Hello.
For an attack with thrips I purchased Vertimec 1.8 EC, 10 ml, and Break Thru S 240 at your recommendation. I mixed the doses correctly following the instructions. As my plants are in my apartment and I don’t have a balcony (more than 15 plants), and on the leaflet it says that it is a pretty toxic solution (when in contact with surfaces, clothes, skin etc. it has to be washed quickly), how do you suggest to proceed? I have already sprayed the Anthurium plant in the bathroom (I have isolated as much as I could the surface where I sprayed the plant), but the solution remains on the pot and small splashes drip from the leaves.
So, how safe is it to put the plants back where they initially were (on furniture, shelves, etc.) and stay with them in the room after spraying? I should mention that the smell is quite strong when you spray them.
It would help to know how to proceed in the case of houseplants (not greenhouse plants or crops, orchards).

Hello. For your safety, leave the plants in the bath until the solution dries on them, and then you can relocate them. If you have pets, it is best to keep an eye on them so that they do not ingest the treated plants. Also, it is good to ventilate the place where the treatment was carried out, and after moving the plants to disinfect the space in order to avoid any possible contact with the substances applied to the plants.
