HoHoratiu5 April 20242 Wish green leaves
Anthurium, dried leaves and flowers
I bought an Anturium around the beginning of February. It has started to have spots on the leaves and the buds are drying out.
Can you help me with some advice? What can be done to save the plant?
It is protected from sunlight, 50% humidity, watering 1-2 a week.
Thank you.Attachments:

Hello. To help you with recommendations and advice, please send us more photos of the whole plant, as well as more details about its growth and care: whether the environmental and/or care conditions have been changed recently, whether the plant has been transplanted, whether the pot has drainage holes, what is the source of the water you use, what is the temperature of the water, tell us whether the substrate dries out before watering, whether the water seeps quickly through the substrate, whether there are heat sources or cold draughts in the vicinity of the plant, whether you have carried out treatments or fertilized it, and any other relevant information. Also, please check the plant carefully and let us know if you notice any other symptoms (deposits, powders, discoloration, white fuzz, fine webs on the underside and topside of the leaves, soft buds, etc.) or pests. If you notice any symptoms of disease/pests, please attach clear and relevant photos of them.
HoHoratiu7 April 2024HoHoratiu8 April 2024The plant is next to a humidifier set for 50% humidity in the room, not in direct sunlight, away from draughts, the room temperature 21-23°C.
I also used the insecticide in the pictures.
Do I have to remove the affected parts of the plant?
Do I have to change the pot?
What can I do to save it?Attachments:

HoHoratiu9 April 2024The plant has not been transplanted, I did not use any fertilizers, it was watered with tap water that was left for 24 hours at room temperature, the pot has drainage holes and the water seeps quickly through the substrate (I do the watering from above until the water starts to collect in the dish).
I have not noticed any symptoms of pests. The symptoms of distress are as shown in the attached photos.
Thank you.In this case, it is recommended to remove the stems and leaves and treat with a fungicide such as Champ 77 WG, 20 g, in a dose of 20 g/10 L water. Spray the solution as finely as possible, so as to achieve a more even distribution of the solution on the plant, both on the underside and on the topside of the leaves. 7-10 days after the treatment it is recommended to transplant the plant into a slightly larger pot (Indoor plants - Repotting), using a substrate that is specially designed for indoor plants (e.g. Green Plants Professional Substrate, 10 litres). Immediately after transplanting, it is recommended to administer 2-3 treatments, by watering, with a natural fertilizer, such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, which contributes to improving the quality of the substrate, supports root development, increasing the plant’s resistance to stress factors. Also, to support the plant’s regeneration process, you can spray a fertilizer such as Organic Spray for Indoor Plants Zimmerpflanzen, 500ml. Further, it is recommended to follow the specific care requirements detailed in our article in the Armuro Community: Anthurium, plant care and growing guide .
