Hello. In the attached photos the presence of aphids can be seen (Aphids - pest management). Against them it is recommended to carry out 2 treatments, 7 days apart, alternating insecticides such as (in a dose of 5 ml/10 L water) and (in a dose of 1.5 g/10 L water). To increase the effectiveness of the insecticides, it is advisable to add an adjuvant such as , in a dose of 2 ml/10 L insecticide solution. Spray the mixture as finely and evenly as possible on the plants, insisting on the areas where the aphids are present. The first treatment is recommended to be carried out at an interval of min. 7-10 days after the treatment mentioned by you. Additionally, as preventive measures, you can consider cleaning the leaves regularly with a damp cloth, regularly removing fallen leaves from the surface of the substrate, respectively placing adhesive traps around the plant (e.g. ).
Also, given the presence of mold on the surface of the substrate, for the time being it is recommended to change the first few centimeters of substrate with a new one (). Mold is an indicator of high and constant humidity and insufficient ventilation (favoring the development of pathogens). It is recommended that watering be done moderately, with optimal amounts of water, only when the top layer of the substrate is dry (the first 3-5 cm). Excessive watering can lead to root rot, leaf drop and create an imbalance in the plant. Also, in order to promote the evaporation of water from the substrate, it is recommended to check the drainage holes of the pot (to make sure they are not blocked) and to gently loosen the top layer of the substrate (occasionally).
Proper care and fertilization of the plant is also essential for its healthy development. More relevant information can be found in our article: Hebe, planting guide and care work.
If you consider that transplanting is necessary, it is recommended to carry out this operation in spring, respecting the general requirements related to this procedure: Indoor plants - Repotting.
