Fruit rot

Fruit rot is disease-specific to both stone and pome fruits. The attack occurs on leaves, flowers, fruits, and young branches. In spring, young leaves show browning, especially along the veins. In wet weather, the fungus forms mycelia with yellowish-grey spores near the attacked areas. Young fruits stop growing, brown, bruise, and fall off.
