Wisteria – leaves wilting/dying
I bought this plant in May, and after a month the leaves began to turn yellow and dry out, at the same time appearing white, sticky substance on the underside of the leaves. I did not administer any treatment, the plant was watered regularly, ad I keep it away from direct sunlight.

Hello, it seems that Wisteria has the symptoms of a phytopathogenic disease (but for an exact determination it is necessary to perform laboratory tests). In this case, it is important to remove the affected leaves, in order to diminish the spread of the disease, after which, you can try to apply 2-3 treatments with a broad-spectrum fungicide, such as Zoxis 250 SC, 10 ml. Dilute 10 ml in 10 liters of water, and the solution obtained is applied by spraying on the leaves. It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage) because the mixture already prepared does not have a valability of more than 24 hours. The treatments can be applied at intervals of 7 days. Simultaneously with the fungicide treatment, you can administer by watering a fertilizer based on algae extract, such as AMN Nordalge, 500 ml , which supports the resistance of plants to stress and inhibits the development of pathogens in the soil. It can be applied in a dose of 20-30 ml / 10 l of water. After 10-12 days from the application of spray treatments, in order to support the regeneration of the plant after the disease, it is important to administer a special fertilizer that stimulates the healthy growth of the plants following a disease: Interior Plant Regeneration Ackerschachtelhalm RTU, 500 ml. More information about wisteria care is presented in our article: Wisteria, planting guide and care work.
