Wasps at the house beam – treatment recommendation

Hello! I have a problem for a week now with wasps appearing in the house in two rooms that are under each other on the corner where I noticed outside that wasps are swarming. At the beam. There is also a buzzing sound in the wall. It’s a wooden house. What measures can I take? I have two children and I would like to know if I have to spray with a specific substance and if we have to stay out of the house for several hours. We are looking for the nest , which I think is in the wall.

Hello, considering that you have noticed their presence in the area (house beam), for control, it is recommended to carry out a treatment with an insecticide such as K-Othrine WG 250, 20 g or Cytrol Forte WP, 20 g. These are dissolved in water according to the recommendations on the label (depending on the product chosen) and applied by spraying so that the solution applied reaches the area as far as possible (so that the wasps come into contact with it). Also, it is important to mention that when applying the treatment, wasps will become agitated when in contact with the solution, therefore, it is recommended that the person performing the treatment be dressed as thickly as possible, with gloves and with all parts of the body covered, and after application to immediately leave the treated area.
Also, for long-term control, if the nest is visible/accessible, it is recommended to remove it from the place, and if it is inside, it is recommended to seal the area to prevent wasps from returning after a period of time.
