Tarragon, spots on the leaves – probably rust
Hello! For 4 years I have been cultivating 300 sqm of tarragon. This year in June after 8 rainy days and no sun all the bushes got this rust, I think. I cut it all down and burnt it, and sprayed it with cropmax. It grew again up to 35 cm but it’s still full of rust. Now I cut it back and burned it again. My question is if the roots have been affected!? Thanks for any answers

Hello. Indeed, the tarragon is most probably affected by rust (Rust diseases - identify and control). In our product catalogue there is no approved fungicide to combat rust on tarragon. If you wish, you can consider 1-2 treatments with a fungicide such as Zoxis 250 SC, 10 ml, in a dose of 10 ml/10 L water, applied by foliar spraying, at an interval of 7-10 days between the two treatments, if necessary. As the fungicide is not approved for tarragon, the preharvest interval cannot be specified.
Detailed information on tarragon cultivation can be found in our article: Tarragon - planting, growing and harvesting.-
