      Rosemary dries out

Hello! I bought this rosemary a week and a half ago. I positioned it at the window where it has direct light. I only sprayed it with the sprinkler on the leaves and on the soil when I saw that the soil was dry. Now it’s starting to dry. What could I do? Thank you in advance!

Hello, the symptoms are characteristic of diseases caused by persistent moisture at the roots. In general, excessive watering, poor drainage of the substrate, pots that do not allow water drainage, create optimal conditions for the appearance and development of plant diseases. In this case, it is important to remove, first of all, the affected portions, after which, in order to support the regeneration of the plant after the disease, it is important to apply a special fertilizer: Interior Plant Regeneration Ackerschachtelhalm RTU, 500 ml.

Hello! I come back with a new question. After the previous post, I discovered that there are worms and fleas in the soil. I went to an insecticide store where I was given an insecticide and bought new peat soil. I changed the soil, washed the roots very well, then sprayed it with insecticide diluted with water. At the moment I don’t see any improvement, but the situation doesn’t seem to have gotten worse either. What else can I do? Thank you in advance!

Because the plant suffered from excess moisture, if you give extra water with treatment, I don’t think it will recover. Maybe find a place to plant it without the potting soil or buy another rosemary just from Lidl. I got two pots from the supermarket. I put them next to the fence in semi-shade. I live in the south. I also grow rosemary plants for colleagues who don’t have conditions at home. The plants are over 60 cm. Every 3 years I prune them.
