Hello, for the control of the boxwood moth (Cydalima perspectalis) it is recommended to carry out 2-3 treatments at 5-7 days, depending on the evolution of the attack, with insecticides such as Deltasap 2.5 EC, 5 ml in a dose of 5 ml / 7 L of water, respectively Karate Zeon 50 CS, 2 ml in a dose of 1.5 ml / 10 L of water. The two insecticides are applied alternately: the first treatment is carried out with Deltasap 2.5 EC, after 5-7 days the second treatment is applied, with Karate Zeon 50 CS, and, if necessary, after another 5-7 days the third treatment is applied, with Deltasap 2.5 EC. In order for the insecticide solution to remain on the glossy leaves of the boxwood, it is also recommended to add an adjuvant to the spray solution such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml in a dose of 2 ml/10 L solution.
At the same time with the application of foliar treatments with insecticides, it is recommended to apply by spreading a fertilizer specially formulated for the requirements of these plant species, Algae Lime Powder, 1.75 kg, according to the instructions in the product description.
In addition, it is also recommended the regular application of fertilizer with optimal nutrient content for boxwood, such as Boxwood Fluid, 350 ml or Buxus NT, 250 ml by foliar spraying, as specified in the product description. The first application should be made 7-10 days after completion of the insecticide treatments.
In order to be able to help you with a recommendation for ants, please indicate where they are present (indoor/outdoor).-

TiTim27 May 2022Hi,

The ants are located outdoor. Everywere: in the grass, in the borders, underground, in trees. Please advice also a good product to spray over the grass and plants. It have to be very strong so they can be destroyed completely! I allready have tried the 2 different syringes for the jars but it wont work. Thanks in avances and have a nice day!
Best Regards,-
Hello, for outdoor ant control, is recommended to apply the first treatment with an insecticide such as i14 Cytrol, 500 ml, applied by spraying, according to label recommendations. This treatment will eliminate ants that come into contact with the applied solution.
However, this first treatment will only remove the ants from the area where it has been applied, it will not remove the ant nest. Therefore, a few days after the treatment, it is advisable to check the area in question to see if you will still notice their presence (they may still appear around the anthill, where they have not come into contact with the applied solution).
There, it is recommended to apply an insecticidal gel, such as MaxForce Quantum, 30 g in places protected from rain and from the direct, strong, and prolonged action of the sun’s rays, according to the recommendations on the product label, which are also found in its description. To protect the gel, it is also recommended to use bait stations such as s7 Insect Box.
As for the ants on the trunk of trees (if they are present there), for long-lasting protection against them, you can consider applying a protective adhesive on the trunk (according to the recommendations on the label): Caterpillar Glue Green, 250 g .
However, considering these aspects, the complete removal of ants from the area is difficult.-
