Hello! I bought bags of soil, spread it in the garden and I think it was infested with wood borers. Since then, the Pelargonium plants have stopped flowering and have damaged leaves. I sprinkled the soil with slaked lime and sprayed the Pelargonium plants with Karate Zeon. The insects have not disappeared.
Hello, in the attached photos it appears to be a species of terrestrial isopods. They feed mainly on decaying plant matter. Given their beneficial role in nature, they are not controlled (there are no approved products on the market).
The holes in the leaves of the Pelargonium plants can also be caused by other pests, such as caterpillars, various larvae, beetles, weevils, etc., so please check the leaves carefully, the topside and underside (including in the evening or at night, when these insects can come out to feed) and attach a few photos of them as clearly as possible.
