Olive tree, scale insects and transplanting

We bought an Olive tree sapling from Greece this summer, including a sachet of special fertilizer for it, with which we were advised to spray the tree every 6 months.
It was doing well, it even had new leaves, but then it started to dry out. I noticed some small things (like worms) at the roots when cleaning the fallen leaves. We downloaded an app (Agrio) with which we scanned the tree and it indicated that there is an infestation with scale bugs and the recommended treatment was with pyriproxyfen products.
I have seen that there are many products with this substance. What could I use and how, how many times/week/day?
The tree is still in a pot, I was planning to move it in spring. Do you think it is advisable to change the soil with this occasion?
      Thank you!

Hello, for the control of scale insects we recommend treatments with insecticides such as Movento 100 SC, 7.5 ml, in a dose of 7.5 ml/10 L water or with Mospilan 20 SG, 3 g, in a dose of 3 g/10 L water. Two treatments can be carried out at an interval of 7 days. More precisely, if you carry out the first treatment with Movento, you can carry out the second treatment with Mospilan, 7 days after the first one. To increase the effectiveness of the insecticides, it is recommended to add an adjuvant such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml, to the spraying solution in a dose of 2 ml/10 L. Spray the mixture as finely as possible so that it is distributed evenly on the plant. It is important to mention that, after they die, these pests can remain attached to the leaves/branches/stem, therefore, it is recommended to remove them with a damp sponge (if possible). From spring, to help with abundant flowering and fruit formation, it is recommended to start fertilizing with Wuxal Mediterranean Plants, 250 ml, according to the instructions on the package. Transplanting is usually done in early spring, using a porous and aerated substrate such as Green Plants Professional Substrate, 10 litres. In the case of olive trees, immediately after transplanting, AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, which stimulates rooting, can be administered.
