Olive tree, green leaves which keep falling
Good evening! A month ago I bought an Olea Europaea olive tree from a greenhouse. I should mention that the olive tree is only kept indoors, placed near the window to get light. I water it regularly, not when the soil is wet, but not when it is completely dry. It was also moved to a larger pot immediately after being brought into the house, the pot has a drainage hole and the soil used was one recommended for olive trees.
However, its leaves keep falling off, either green or dry, and on some of them you can see small broken portions as depicted in the pictures. What could be the problem, please?Attachments:

+ I forgot to mention that I noticed very fine webs at the top of the plant that I removed a week ago, and so far no new ones have appeared.
Hello. From the attached photos and from the information received from you, the plant shows symptoms similar to a mite attack, and the leaf fall may be caused by transplanting the olive tree immediately after the change in environmental conditions and care. Against mites you can carry out 1-2 treatments, 7-10 days apart, with the insecticide Vertimec 1.8 EC, 10 ml, in a dose of 5 ml/10 L water. To increase the effectiveness of the insecticide, it is recommended to add an adjuvant such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml, in a dose of 2 ml/10 L to the solution.
Spray the solution as finely as possible so that it is distributed evenly on the plant, both on the underside and topside of the leaves and on the stem. It is advisable to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage), because the already prepared mixture does not have a shelf life longer than 24 hours. The treatments can also be applied to the other plants in the premises (if applicable).
In order to help the plant overcome the period of stress suffered, but also for a better rooting in the new substrate, it is recommended to use a fertilizer such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, applied by watering, according to the information on the product label. In the future, it is advisable to transplant the newly purchased seedlings at least two weeks after the change in environmental and care conditions to reduce the stress suffered by the plants. From spring it is recommended to fertilize the olive tree periodically with a specially designed fertilizer, such as Wuxal Mediterranean Plants, 250 ml, administered according to the information on the label. More information about the care of this species can be found in our article in the Armuro Community: Olive, plant care and growing guide. Further, it is recommended to monitor the evolution of the plant for a while, and if other symptoms appear or the ones mentioned above worsen, we are waiting for your message accompanied by photos.-
