Marantha leaves yellowing
Hello! I have this Marantha for approx. 1 year and it seemed very well until 3 months ago, it grew a lot, and it flourished a lot during this time. But for 1-2 months, its leaves began to turn yellow, one by one. At first, I thought it was something it didn’t like – i thought maybe the soil was too wet, so i checked the roots and changed the pot with a bigger one and another soil that drains better. I let the soil dry a bit, i put less water). I started spraying the leaves more often. Daily. However, the leaves continue to turn yellow. I mention that in the last 3-4 months i sprayed it preventively with Mospilan, then with Floramite, because other plants were infested, and it was among them. How could i make it recover? Thanks!

Hello, usually the yellowing of leaves in marantha (calathea) is determined by low atmospheric humidity, but also by insufficient water. In this case, if you have started spraying the plant daily, you can now remove the affected leaves (because they will not recover) and make sure you give them enough water each time you water them so that the soil is completely saturated. In addition, it is important not to let the water in the drain pan. In order to support its regeneration and resistance to stress factors, but also to provide it with the necessary nutrients, it would be advisable to regularly apply a fertilizer such as AMN Verde, 500 ml. This fertilizer can be applied to all indoor plants.
