Ilex attacked by insects
I have a potted ilex, which in December I moved from the balcony to a cool room, I thought because of frost its leaves started to fall off. In February it bloomed and new leaves appeared, and for a few days, I have noticed that they are being eaten. I have now discovered beetles on its leaves. I only find them at night, so I can assume they are hiding in the potting soil during the day. I suspect that the falling of the “mature” leaves is also due to them and I hope that the roots have not been attacked. I can’t identify this type of beetle on the Internet (I have attached a photo). Can you help me to identify the type of beetle and the solution for its extermination? Also, if it is known to attack the roots, how could I save the shrub? Would it be a good idea to dig it out of the ground and plant it in new soil?
Thank you very much!Attachments:

Most likely the insect in the picture is part of the Tanymecus species. The adults of this species feed on the aerial parts of the plants, and the larvae with roots. To control this insect it is recommended to apply a treatment with an insecticide such as Mospilan 20 SG, 3 g, and as an additional safety measure, it is recommended to change the plant soil.
