Oriental Cockroaches

I keep finding Oriental cockroaches on the terrace

Hello, I live in an apartment on the first floor. I keep finding Oriental cockroaches on the terrace and in the evening I can no longer open the doors to the terrace or any windows for fear of not bringing any insects into the house. Recently, I started finding in the apartment, in the morning, 1 maximum 2 cockroaches. What do you recommend?

First of all, it is important to block the access of Oriental cockroaches into the house by sealing the cracks or any other access points – holes in pipes, inspection holes, doors and windows.
To control the cockroaches, it is recommended to apply an insecticidal gel that has an attractant in its composition, such as i21.5 Premise Gel, 20 g. It is applied in “beads” with the shape of rice grains in hidden places (behind furniture, behind baseboards, behind appliances, on door hinges etc.). Due to the product formulation and the nature of the cockroaches, this gel is the most suitable for getting rid of the entire nest. The attractant will entice them and in 24 hours the first dead pests will be observed. By the nature of the species, they will feed on the dead and transmit the effect of the gel, leading to the so-called “domino” effect and to the extermination of the entire nest.
Also, if you can, use a dehumidifier to reduce the humidity in the house to a minimum, since Oriental cockroaches are attracted to humid environments.
