Herbs attacked by caterpillars
I have several aromatics on the windowsill. I noticed holes in the leaves of basil, sage, and mint, but didn’t see any pests. What could it be and what should I treat them with (so they are edible later)?

Hello, the symptoms on the leaves are specific to the caterpillar attack. Thus, for control, it is recommended to carry out 1-2 treatments, at intervals of 7-10 days, with a biological insecticide, such as Antario, 100 g. Dissolve 10 g / 10 l of water. However, this insecticide is not approved for herbs (and currently we do not have one in our catalog) and it is not possible to specify a preharvest interval. In addition, in order to stimulate healthy growth and regeneration following the stress suffered, it is indicated to apply a natural fertilizer that improves soil quality and supports the development of roots, such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml.

MeMeridor10 April 2022Thank you! However, I can’t find any caterpillars in pots or under the leaves (I’ve had other times and I’ve seen them). Could there be anything else? The leaves of other nearby plants are attacked by miners (I have attached a picture). Can I mix Antario with an insecticide to fight them?
