Grape vine – treatments against mites and mealybugs
Hello, I found mealybugs, I think, on the bark and spots on the leaves of the grapevine. I haven’t done any treatment so far, please tell me what to apply, because it also has grapes.

Hello. The symptoms on the leaves are caused by the grapevine bud mite (Eriophyes vitis), and on the bark it seems to be the woolly vine scale (The woolly vine scale (Pulvinaria vitis) - pest management). In this case, it is recommended to carry out a first treatment with the insecticide Movento 100 SC, 7.5 ml, in a dose of 7.5 ml / 10 L of water, and at 7-10 days, the second treatment can be performed with the insecticide Vertimec 1.8 EC, 10 ml , in a dose of 10 ml / 10 L water. To increase the effectiveness of the products, it is recommended to add to the spray solution an adjuvant such as Break Thru S 240, 2 ml , in a dose of 2 ml / 10 L. It is important to follow the recommendations mentioned on the product label. Spray the solution as finely as possible so as to distribute it as evenly as possible on the plant, both on the underside and on the upperside of the leaves, as well as on the stem. For the control of diseases and pests (Grapevine treatments, pest and disease control), it is advisable to carry out preventive treatments in vegetation, depending on the phenophase, as well as the treatments during the dormancy period, after the fall of the leaves (Winter treatments with oils and copper-based products). In addition, in order to promote healthy growth, it is also recommended to administer a fertilizer such as: Manna Biorit Gartendunger NPK Organic Fertilizer, 5 kg.

You can perform the treatments at the end of flowering (after the fall of the flowers). The treatment is applied by foliar spray (on the leaves) but also on the bark, according to the previous recommendations.
