Cockroaches – newly renovated apartment
Hello,
My first night in my new apartment, late at night in the bathroom I saw a big black beetle. Identified via google, blatta orientalis. Two nights later, same story. Panicked and ready to take action, I bought the bayer Max Force IC White syringe.
Gelling, I noticed tiny babies all over the rooms, under door frames and where the baseboard meets the floorboards. Three days after application, I didn’t see so many, instead I caught 2 bigger ones in the living room (see attachment).
What type of beetle does it look like?
Can I continue with Bayer Max Force IC White or do I need something else?Attachments:

Hello. From the inserted images, they appear to be a species of cockroach. Thus, if the degree of infestation is high, it is recommended to apply an insecticide such as i2 AMP2 CL RTU, 1 litre or i2.6 Universal RTU, 500 ml, to the surfaces. Spray the surfaces that the insects pass through according to the recommendations on the label, depending on the product chosen. Then, after a few days, you can apply the insecticide already purchased: Maxforce IC Gel, 20 g. It can be applied in the form of rice grains in hidden places (behind furniture, behind electrical appliances, on door hinges, etc.). The gel contains an attractant that will attract them and within 24 hours the first dead pests will be observed. By the nature of the species, they will feed on the dead pests and transmit the effect of the gel, the so-called “cascade” effect, leading to the extermination of the entire nest. More information on how to control them is presented in the following article: How to get rid of Cockroaches, German species.
Moreover, in the future, for monitoring and catching various insects, it is recommended to regularly use a trap such as: 100i Insect Monitors, 3 pieces.-

Recommended articlesRoRobert7 September 2022Hello, I also have a situation with small beetles exactly like the picture in the original post.
The situation is that in my recently renovated and very clean apartment, every morning I find between 1 and 5 such beetles with their bellies up or dead or stunned. They seem to be gathered in the living room (totally isolated from outside/neighbours) around the sofa but occasionally I find one in the hallway or kitchen. I haven’t applied any insecticide, traps or solutions to kill them and have hoped they would go away since I only find them dead. A couple of times I have seen them slowly migrate from the living room to other places. However it’s been about 30 days and I see no signs of improvement.
Is there any possible explanation?-
Hello. Usually, if there are dead cockroaches in the house, there is a possibility that the building has been treated for pest control and that they are entering the building through the sewage system, the ventilation system, the space under the door, and other cracks or windows. If live cockroaches are also observed, you may consider following the recommendations given above.
