      Can the cat eat poisoned rats?

      Hello,

      I have a rat invasion and I want to buy some raticides. Is it possible for a cat to eat dead rats and be poisoned?

      Hello. If you can’t limit the cat’s access to the rat-infested area, it is recommended to use a first-generation raticide, such as Racumin Paste, 5 kg. The risk of secondary toxicity caused by this product is much lower compared to a second generation raticide. However, it is recommended that cats not eat rats that have died because of raticides.
