Bonsai, black spots on the leaves, which then fall off
Hello. I bought a Bonsai from Dedeman, changed its pot, applied an insecticide (because the leaves were a bit sticky) and watered it with a special fertilizer from Dedeman. Its leaves started to turn black and fall off very easily.
Thank you in advance for your reply!Attachments:

Hello, please give us more details about the growth and care of the plant, since when do you have it, the environmental conditions (location, light, humidity, temperature, etc.), how have you done the watering so far, at what time intervals, how much water do you usually use. Please also tell us if the pot has drainage holes, when have the symptoms started and if you have carried out any treatments.
AnAndrei7 November 2023Hello. The bonsai is bought from Dedeman and I have had it for 4-5 days. It has been watered twice. About half a cup, and I put some Amia fertilizer the first time I watered it. When I bought it I changed the pot and the new one has no holes. I put special soil from Agro. It was also treated with an “Ikebana insecticide, fungicide and acaricide” spray. I put it on the electric fireplace (it stays in partial light)
Hello, the symptoms of the bonsai in the pictures you sent were caused by a combination of environmental and/or care factors such as: a change in the environmental conditions, the amount of watering, the water quality, an increased humidity in the substrate, the lack of drainage holes, the stress caused by transplanting, the use of plant care products, etc. In this case, it is recommended to transplant the plant into a new pot with water drainage holes, using a substrate specially designed for bonsai (Bonsai Professional Substrate, 5 litres). After transplanting, it is recommended to carry out two treatments at 14-day intervals. The first one should be done with AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, by watering, in a dose of 2-6 ml/ 1 L water, which helps with the rooting of the plant. After 14 days it is recommended to carry out the second treatment using the biological fungicide Dynamic, 100 g, also applied through watering, in a dose of 10 g/ 10 L water. In the future it is recommended to water moderately, when the first 2-3 cm of the substrate have dried (you can leave the tap water in an open container for 24 hours before watering the plants to remove the chlorine). From spring onwards, it is recommended to fertilize the bonsai by spraying, using the product AMN BonaVita, 500 ml, according to the information on the product label.
