Bonsai, aerial roots on the stem

Hello! My plant has these roots on the surface of the stems. It has had the same problem before…. I applied a solution, I don’t remember the name of it and I also changed the soil. For about a month it has these roots again and the leaves are falling off.

Hello. The presence/appearance of aerial roots is normal in bonsai, as they generally play a role in the stability of the stem and branches, or the plant as a whole. In the attached files you can see leaves with symptoms of deterioration – it is recommended to regularly remove them and ensure the optimal growing conditions of these plants: Bonsai, plant care and growing guide. It is known that bonsai are very sensitive to environmental and care conditions (especially to changing environmental conditions and transplanting, but also to watering, fertilizing, pruning and others). Thus, most likely the symptoms of leaf drop can be correlated with transplanting. The future development of the plant cannot be predicted. It is recommended to monitor the evolution of the plant for a while, and in case other symptoms of decline appear, we are waiting for your message with photos and detailed information about the plant and its symptoms.
