Blueberry – treatment against stem canker
I have blueberry bushes that look like they are dying .Not many leaves on the plants . No bugs noticed. I found a hole in the ground at the base of the plant. It could be moles? I do have them in my yard.

Hello, from the attached images, the symptoms are similar to those caused by stem canker, for which there is no treatment. In this case, it is recommended to remove and destroy all the infected parts. However, if you want to be sure, you may consider having a laboratory test. This can be done at a Plant Protection Institute in your area.
THTeresa H.15 April 2022hello, stem canker is caused by a fungus. The main measure to control this disease is to cut and burn affected branches and disinfect the utensils used. As preventive measures, it is recommended to avoid sprinkler irrigation, maintain cultural hygiene, minimize mechanical injuries to plants, and respect the care requirements for blueberries. However, for more precise identification of the pathogen, you may consider having a laboratory test.
