Begonia lucernae with browning leaves
Hello, can you help me with some advice about Begonia lucernae? It has gray spots starting from the middle of the leaf, yellow discolorations and dry portions such as burnt paper. I did not notice any pests and i did not change anything in its care. It is 2 m away from the east window and it is watered once every few days when the soil is dry. I was thinking of cutting all its leaves to let it grow some new ones, but i don’t know if that’s how i solve the problem or if the new leaves will be affected as well. It stands next to many other plants, should i keep it away? Thanks!

Hello, it is advisable to remove the most affected leaves, then to apply a broad-spectrum fungicide, such as Amistar ( Amistar, 10 ml ). It is recommended to apply one or two treatments at 5-7 days intervals and 7-10 days after the treatments, a foliar fertilizer with strengthening effect can be applied: ( Biplantol Vital NT, 250 ml ). Applications can be repeated in about two to three weeks. For a proper development of the plants, it is recommended to consider the caring conditions (light, humidity, temperature, watering, fertilization, substrate, etc. ) specific to each plant.
