Beans, brown, undeveloped roots and faded leaves
A week after planting, I noticed that the runner beans were fading. I checked their roots and found that the stem and roots were brown and the roots have not developed at all. After planting I watered with Merpan to sterilize the soil and no other treatment has been applied so far. Please help me with some advice if you can. Thanks

Hello! In order to be able to help you with a recommendation, please give us more details: what are the environmental conditions (temperature, light, humidity)? At what time intervals do you water and approximately how much water do you use? Have you applied any fertilizers (if yes, which fertilizer and in what dose)? When did the plants start displaying these symptoms? To what extent are the plants affected? Are any pests visible on the leaves or in the soil? You can also mention any other information that may be relevant in this case.
AnAndreea12 March 2024Hello!
The temperature is 8-10 degrees at night and 25 degrees during the day.
The light is good, plus there is a double foil insulation over the foil that is on the greenhouse!
Moisture: we applied 2 l of water per plant and that was all in the past 10 days!
I didn’t apply any fertilizers. I just added 300 ml of water mixed with Captan to each plant after watering!
They have had these symptoms for 2-3 days!
The plants are 10% affected.
I haven’t noticed any pests. I just pulled the roots out of the soil and saw that they haven’t developed and that they are brown!According to the information provided, the symptoms may have occurred due to several factors, such as: temperature variations between day and night, greater sensitivity of the affected plants to the same environmental factors, high flow of the drip system on a given area (if applicable), etc. For the time being, it is recommended to administer a natural fertilizer that contributes to improving the quality of the soil and supports root development, increasing the plants’ resistance to stress factors, such as AMN BonaVita, 500 ml. 2-3 treatments can be carried out at 2-week intervals by watering, according to the information on the label. Additionally, for disease and pest control, you can consider preventive treatments carried out during the vegetative growth.
