Almond – gummosis and holes in bark
Hello! I have an almond tree and it made a lot of gummosis on the trunk. I took off the gummosis and there were ugly holes left. From what can it be? What can I do?

Hello! It is located in the garden, it has full sun, it can be seen inside that it is a bit dark brown, there are some rust spots on the leaves, I water it almost daily because it is in the sun, not I put fertilizer on the ground, I just sprayed the leaves with copper sulphate and these holes were long on the trunk. I don’t know what to do so i don’t lose him. It has fruit. Thank you very much in advance!

In this case, it is recommended to clean the affected areas (with a clean, disinfected tool), until healthy wood is observed. Then apply a copper-based paste like Bouillie Bordelaise WDG, 50 g. A sachet of bordeaux mixture dissolves in a small amount of water (0. 5 liters), so as to form a paste. Copper has a bactericidal, fungicidal effect and helps to heal wounds quickly. After disinfecting well with the solution, and it dries, you can apply a product such as Tree plaster, 300 g.
