Begonia maculata – it loses its leaves
Hi. Although I used AMN Nordalge for watering, sparingly, about once every 2 weeks and also Zimmerpflanzen, I don’t see any improvement in the plant.
I don’t water it anymore, the temperature is constant at about 20 degrees, it doesn’t sit in direct sunlight.
Any advice, ideas?
Thanks a lot!Attachments:

Hello. The plant’s deterioration may be caused by a combination of biotic and abiotic factors, but the nature of the symptoms cannot be accurately determined on the basis of the photos and information provided (Indoor plants - symptoms, causes, solutions). Given the current state of the plant, it is not possible to predict its future development.
If you consider that the begonia in the attached photo still has a chance of regeneration, you may consider removing the damaged parts of the plant and ensuring optimal growing conditions until early spring. You can also take into consideration 2-3 treatments, at 7-10 days intervals, with a biological fungicide such as Dynamic, 100 g, applied by watering, in a dose of 10 g/10 L water. It is important to prepare a volume of solution corresponding to a single treatment (respecting the mentioned dosage), because the already prepared mixture does not have a shelf life longer than 24 hours. Afterwards, before the plant begins its vegetative growth, it is recommended to transplant it, using a suitable substrate (e.g. Green Plants Professional Substrate, 10 litres). You can continue to fertilize regularly, respecting the instructions on the fertilizer label.
If you consider that the chances of regeneration of the plant are minimal, the base of the stems being damaged, you can consider propagating the begonia through cuttings. More detailed information about these operations (care, transplanting, propagation) can be found in our article: Begonia, plant care and growing guide.-
